A beautiful sugar bowl in the classic Japanese Satsuma style, signed with the ideogram identifying the recognized manufacturer Maruni, active in Kobe until 1938.
Hand painted with various characters, portrayed together with the dragon. The white face and white dots of the dragon are made of enamel, in light relief. About 1920/30.

Una bella zuccheriera nel classico stile Giapponese Satsuma, firmata con l'ideogramma che identifica il riconosciuto produttore Maruni, che fu attivo a Kobe fino al 1938.
Dipinta a mano con vari personaggi, ritratti insieme al drago. La faccia bianca ed i puntini bianchi del drago sono realizzati in smalto, in leggero rilievo. Circa 1920/30.
