ICA ceramic, by Eliseo Salino
The ceramic manufacture ICA (Industria Ceramiche Albisolesi) began its activity in 1943. In 1947 Eliseo Salino (1919-1999), a recognized ceramist sculptor, became its artistic director and will remain until 1957. This vase decorated with stylized equestrian motifs is a work by Salino, as confirmed by the signature placed under the ICA mark on the bottom of the vase.

La manifattura ceramica ICA (Industria Ceramiche Albisolesi) inizia l'attivita' nel 1943. Nel 1947 Eliseo Salino (1919-1999), riconosciuto scultore ceramista, ne diventa il direttore artistico e rimarra' fino al 1957. Questo vaso decorato con motivi equestri stilizzati e' proprio opera di Salino, come lo conferma la firma apposta sotto al marchio sul fondo del vaso.
