Hand embroidered image of Christ
A small image of Christ on the cross, entirely hand-embroidered and painted details. The thread appears to be silk and metallic thread, probably silver. This little masterpiece of patience can be dated to the end of the 18th century.
The red velvet frame is quite modern, but the oval brass frame is probably part of the original frame.

Una piccola immagine del Cristo in croce, interamente ricamata a mano e dettagli dipinti. Il filo sembra essere filo di seta e filo metallico, probabilmente argento. Questo piccolo capolavoro di pazienza dovrebbe essere databile alla fine del XVIII secolo.
La cornice in velluto rosso e' relativamente moderna, ma il riquadro ovale in ottone probabilmente appartiene alla cornice originale.
