Large green plate with inclusion of air bubbles.
This technique is called Bollinato glass: the air bubbles are created with a metal mold in the molten glass and are subsequently covered with a new layer of glass, thus remaining imprisoned.
In this large plate the bubbles form a beautiful sunburst pattern on a background of different shades of green.
It has no signature, perhaps made by Barbini, Murano.

Grande piatto verde con inclusione di bolle d'aria.
Questa tecnica e' denominata vetro Bollinato: le bolle d'aria sono create con uno stampo metallico nel vetro fuso e vengono succesivamente ricoperte da un nuovo strato di vetro, rimanendo cosi' imprigionate.
In questo grande piatto le bolle formano un bellissimo motivo a raggiera su un fondo di diverse tonalita' del verde.
Non ha firma, forse produzione di Barbini, Murano.
