Agnes Smetana studied porcelain and glass at the Hungarian Academy of Craft and Design in 1980-85.
She designs and executes ornamental glasses, sculptural vessels in accordance with the formal order and colour of art nouveau.
The dominant motifs of her studio glasses inspired by nature display subtle stylization and extremely sensitive colouring. Her compositions are permeated by lyricism.
This vase has an intense natural aura depicting a tree with glass berries that are hot applied; it is extremely elegant, yet with a small bunch of flowers as a dinner table centrepiece it will enhance the country atmosphere.
It is in perfect conditions, no chips or defects.

Agnes Smetana ha studiato porcellana e vetro all'Accademia ungherese di artigianato e design negli anni 1980-85.
Progetta ed esegue vetri ornamentali, vasi scultorei secondo l'ordine formale e il colore del liberty.
I motivi dominanti delle sue creazioni, principalmente ispirati alla natura, mostrano una sottile stilizzazione e una colorazione estremamente sensibile. Le sue composizioni sono permeate dal lirismo.
Questo vaso ha un'aura naturale intensa che raffigura un albero con bacche di vetro applicate a caldo ed è estremamente elegante.
È in perfette condizioni, senza sbeccature o difetti.
