The origin of this medallion is still a mystery to us. Surely it is the emblem of an association or of a religious order, perhaps from the first half of the 1800s. It is made with two different layers of chalcedony glass and the decoration is enamelled. It has small flaws on the edge.

E' per noi ancora un mistero l'origine di questo medaglione. Sicuramente e' l'emblema di un'associazione o di un ordine religioso, forse della prima meta' del 1800. E' realizzato con due strati differenti di vetro calcedonio e la decorazione e' smaltata. Ha piccoli difetti sul bordo.
