A skilfully shaped glass vase, it is hollow down to the base, manufactured by the well known Bohemian producer Kralik. This design belongs to the "Lines & Canes" series by them.
The Murrine pearls and the green added to the glass blossom into leafy purple flowers, giving this vase an attractive contrast of colors.
This piece probably dates back from the 1940s, when designs moved away from the Deco' style and started to experiment new shapes.

Questo paesaggio invernale dipinto in smalto e' un classico disegno dell'epoca Art Nouveau, e spesso presente nelle creazioni di questo grande maestro francese, che voleva rappresentare i "suoi" boschi della regione di Vosges, di cui era originario.
