Large colored glass bowl with heat-applied black glass base.
The extremely thin glass of the bowl (it weighs only 1.3 kg) is formed by multicolored lines of glass coiled in a spiral during the hot laying on the mold. You can see the air bubbles deliberately created with this technique and which add character to the surface.
Bright colors and great transparency combined with the off-axis spiral effect make this piece a unique work. Estimated period: first half of the 20th century.
Some small chips, visible in the photos, at the base and on the edge.

Grande coppa in vetro colorato con base saldata a caldo in vetro nero.
Il vetro estremamente sottile della coppa (pesa solo 1.3 kg) e' formato da linee multicolori di vetro avvolte a spirale durante la posa a caldo sullo stampo. Si notano le bolle d'aria volutamente create con questa tecnica e che aggiungono carattere alla superficie.
Colori brillanti e grande trasparenza combinati con l'effetto della spirale fuori asse fanno di questo pezzo un'opera unica. Epoca stimata: prima meta' del XX secolo.
Alcune piccole sbeccature, visibili nelle foto, alla base e sul bordo.
