In 1905 the granddaughter and daughter of the two subjects of these miniatures made sure to leave the memory of her mother and grandmother to posterity. The names of the two women are written inside each portrait holder, with the same handwriting, perhaps on the occasion of the death of the mother. The miniature portraits date from around 1850.

Nel 1905 la nipote e figlia dei due soggetti di queste miniature si e' assicurata di lasciare ai posteri la memoria della madre e della nonna. All'interno di ogni porta ritratto sono indicati i nomi delle due donne, con la stessa calligrafia, e forse proprio in occasione della morte della madre. I ritratti risalgono al 1850 circa.
