The author of these works is Ines Panepinto, a Sicilian artist of the 20th century. Married to the more famous Giacomo Baragli, Panepinto experimented with different painting and printing techniques. Here we present four works made with Indian ink, watercolor and tempera, all on paper. The portrait of a sitting half-naked woman is made in tempera on the back cover of an advertising calendar of 1959; it is not signed.
The watercolor depicting a woman dressed in yellow in front of a tree is also unsigned.
The city panorama, executed in ink, bears the signature, date and place where it was made (Salzburg).
Even the watercolor of an imposing historic building, perhaps the Cathedral, has the same date and name of the city of Salzburg, where perhaps the artist spent a period of his life.

L'autrice di queste opere, e' Ines Panepinto, artista siciliana del XX secolo. Sposata con il piu' celebre Giacomo Baragli, la Panepinto ha sperimentato con differenti tecniche di pittura e stampa. Qui presentiamo quattro opere realizzate con inchiostro di china, acquarello e tempera, tutte su carta. Il ritratto di donna seminuda seduta e' realizzato a tempera sul retro della copertina di un calendario pubblicitario del 1959; non e' firmato.
Senza firma anche l'acquarello che ritrae una donna vestita di giallo davanti ad un albero.
Il panorama cittadino, eseguito a china, riporta la firma, data e luogo dove fu realizzato (Salisburgo).
Anche l'acquarello di un imponente edificio storico, forse la Cattedrale, ha la stessa data ed il nome della citta di Salisburgo, dove forse l'artista ha passato un periodo della sua vita.
