This small print was probably part of a book. On the back, in fact, is glued a fragment of a page describing the subject of the portrait : Dr. Francesco dei Coluzzi da Velletri, Doctor of Card. F. Barberini, in the 17th century. There is also a quote from one of his Tractatus, in which he praises the waters of Anticoli, the ancient name of today's Fiuggi, for their beneficial effect on the kidneys and against stones.
The portrait engraving is from the 17th century, but the framing, in mahogany, is from the early decades of the 1800s.

Questa piccola stampa faceva probabilmente parte di un libro. Sul retro infatti e' incollato un frammento di pagina che descrive il soggetto del ritratto: il Dott. Francesco dei Coluzzi da Velletri, Medico del card. F. Barberini, nel XVII secolo. Si legge anche una citazione da un suo Tractatus, in cui loda le acque di Anticoli, antico nome dell'odierna Fiuggi, per il loro effetto benefico sui reni e contro i calcoli.
L'incisione del ritratto e' del XVII secolo, ma questa montatura, con la cornice in mogano, e' dei primi decenni del 1800.
