San Sebastiano is the subject of this beautiful brown ink drawing on paper; the expression of the face is permeated by the suffering of martyrdom and the body, with realistic proportions, seems to contort due to the arrows that have just wounded it.
Certainly of Italian origin and dated on the back "genari 1647"; It is mounted between two glasses with a frame from the late 1800s.
It is in good condition, but it has some pencil writings by whoever framed it.

San Sebastiano e' il soggetto di questo bel disegno a inchiostro marrone su carta; l'espressione del viso e' permeata della sofferenza del martirio ed il corpo, dalle proporzioni realistiche, sembra contorcersi a causa delle frecce che lo hanno appena ferito.
Sicuramente di origine Italiana e datato sul retro "genari 1647"; e' montato fra due vetri con una cornice della fine del 1800.
E' in buone condizioni, ma presenta alcune scritte a matita di chi lo ha incorniciato.
