Chateleine with soldiers
An elaborated chateleine decorated with small very detailed soldier figures. It is made of silvered copper. These accessories were worn generally at the belt or on the chest, with various useful objects to be kept at hand, such as a watch, small scissors, glasses etc.
This elegant example is composed of two hinged elements, richly adorned with several minute details.
It carries no hallmarks; the total height is 18 Cm.

Una elaborata chateleine decorata con piccole figure di soldati molto dettagliate, in rame argentato. Questi accessori erano generalmente indossati alla cintura o sul petto, con vari oggetti utili da tenere a portata di mano, come un orologio, piccole forbici, occhiali ecc.
Questo elegante esemplare è composto da due elementi incernierati e riccamente adornati con piccoli preziosi dettagli. Non ha punzoni. L'altezza totale è di 18 Cm.
