This chateleine can easily be dated towards the end of the 19th century, thanks to the classic Art Nouveu motif depicting a naked girl with putti. It is made of silvered copper. These accessories were worn generally at the belt or on the chest, with various useful objects to be kept at hand, such as a watch, small scissors, glasses etc.
This elegant example is composed of four connected elements, richly adorned embossed details.
It carries no hallmarks; the total height is 14 Cm.
