Tavannes, Swiss pocket watch
Swiss pocket hunter's watch, Tavannes brand. Circa 1920
The case is decorated in nielloed silver, the decorations represent two extremely detailed hunting scenes. On the front there is a rose gold insert and the signature of the case manufacturer can also be seen: "HOLY FRS", a manufacturer recognized for the great artistic quality of their products, active since 1893 in St. Imier, Switzerland
The case has only an unrecognized hallmark. Watch not in working conditions, to be serviced

Orologio da tasca da caccia (hunter's watch) Svizzero, marca Tavannes. 1920 circa
La cassa e' decorata in argento niellato, le decorazioni rappresentano due scene di caccia estremamente dettagliate. Sul fronte vi e' un inserto in oro rosa e si nota la firma del fabbricante della cassa: "HOLY FRS", fabbricante riconosciuto per la grande qualita' artistica dei loro prodotti, attivo dal 1893 a St. Imier, Svizzera
La cassa ha solo un punzone non riconosciuto. Orologio non funzionante, da revisionare
